Joie Introduces i-Level™ – Promoting healthy development

Joie introduces i-Level™

The i-Size approved car seat is new and can recline to an amazing 157 degree lie flat position, even when installed rear facing in the car. This lie flat position is promoted by experts as the best way for your baby to travel in the car. The seat can be used from birth up to 85cm and less than 13kg.

Joie is promoting healthy development because research funded by The Lullaby Trust shows that newborn babies are at risk of breathing difficulties if left sitting upright (40°) in car seats for over 30 minutes, particularly when traveling in a car.

The i-Level’s 157 degree ergonomic angle is engineered to keep your child’s head, neck and body in perfect alignment to maintain constant airflow and has the added bonus of promoting healthy spinal development.

The rearward facing i-Size certified infant carrier has undergone crash testing at Joie’s government certified test lab, up to 70km/h, speeds above and beyond the standard requirements. The i-Level gained i-Size certification for front, rear and side impact scenarios.  An adjustable ISOFIX base with energy absorption comes with the seat as standard to cushion and minimise the impact of a crash and maximise protection and security. The specialised Tri-Protect™ headrest offers further security with an additional three layers of protection inside the side wings of the seat to keep baby safe and secure.

It’s also built for comfort and ease of use, Packed with comfy extras the i-Level boasts wrap around padding, adjustable grow-with-me infant body and head supports and a padded 3-point harness.

i-Level converts from a rearward facing infant car seat to a cosy carry cot in an instant.

The seat pairs with the Joie chrome™, mytrax™, chrome™ dlx, pact™, crosster™ and literax™ 4 pushchairs, as well as other pushchairs using Maxi-Cosi® car seat adaptors.

The i-Level is available to purchase from Mothercare exclusively. RRP £250.
